Role Description Arcadia Credit Union is seeking an organized, creative, and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team. This position assists department managers with daily marketing operations, advertising projects, and member communications. This position plays an important role in coordinating community engagement activities, maintaining brand consistency, and ensuring marketing initiatives run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting the credit union’s mission within the communities we serve.
This job is primarily Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm but may require some nights and weekends to attend events as a representative of the credit union.
Key Responsibilities Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Support department managers in developing and distributing marketing materials, advertisements, and sales literature.
Help administer promotions, giveaways, and contests, including tracking participation and results.
Assist in creating and proofreading content for advertisements, brochures, flyers, and digital media.
Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure timely production and distribution of materials.
Maintain an organized library of current marketing assets and archives.
Community Event Coordination Coordinate logistics and assist in setup for community events, ensuring strong credit union representation.
Serve as an on-site representative when needed, engaging positively with members and the public.
Assist in collecting and organizing event feedback and participation data.
Support the production and distribution of newsletters, both digital and print.
Gather content and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely publication.
Assist in maintaining consistent messaging and branding across all member communications.
Maintain a marketing calendar of events and promotions.
Maintain marketing inventory, promotional materials, and supplies.
Assist with vendor communications, billing, and project tracking.
Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Department as needed.
Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, or other related fields; or in lieu of a degree, experience in a similar role.
Experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination.
Knowledge of social media management and content creation.
Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc).
Experience working in a financial institution or member-service environment.
Compensation The salary range for this position is $20.75-$26.45 per hour, plus incentive opportunities. Candidates with advanced education or significant experience may be eligible for a higher starting wage.
