Overview KVOA-TV in Tucson, Arizona is looking for an energetic Sports Anchor and Multimedia journalist to lead our local sports content. Responsibilities This full-time position requires someone who can excel in the digital age of journalism and can shoot, write, edit, produce, and anchor duties, while being proficient on social platforms. Sports coverage should go beyond reading scores and reporting highlights to tell compelling local stories. If you have a strong on-air presence with credible delivery and a personable style, and can execute engaging live shots, you may be a fit for our team. Qualifications A degree in broadcast journalism or a related multimedia field and at least two years of experience as a television sports anchor. ENPS knowledge a plus. Non-linear editing knowledge and photography skills are required. A good driving record. Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona driver’s license. A pre-employment background check is required.
