MARKETING ANALYST
Please Note: There will be an in‑office presence expectation at 241 Ralph McGill Blvd, Atlanta, GA four (4) days per week and/or as additionally required.
JOB SUMMARY Georgia Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company, is looking for a creative and innovative Marketing Analyst to develop and execute marketing strategies that engage, educate, and connect customers with Energy Assistance programs.
JOB DESCRIPTION As a member of the Brand and Marketing Team, marketing analysts play a significant part in telling the story of how our assistance programs help customers get the help they need to pay their bill. Combining strategic thinking with strong project management skills, the Marketing Analyst is responsible for developing strategy and guiding the execution of integrated/multi‑channel awareness and customer‑acquisition campaigns.
This role will work closely with program managers, internal and external partners to deliver content that drives program enrollment and participation, enhances customer experience, and positively impacts customer satisfaction.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Four‑year degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
3-5 years developing and executing insight‑driven, integrated, end‑to‑end marketing campaigns
Experience managing marketing budgets
Experience working with marketing automation and analytics platforms (Adobe, Google, Eloqua, etc.)
Ability to define, track and evaluate KPIs to assess effectiveness, map success and maximize ROI
Demonstrated ability to write and edit marketing content
Experience working with marketing agencies/vendors
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with internal and external partners to coordinate research to effectively target customers in need of assistance
Forecast and track costs to maintain and manage program marketing budgets
Develop marketing plans that are educational, inclusive, and inspiring, to help achieve program goals
Lead integrated, end‑to‑end campaigns to include targeting, implementation, tracking and analysis
Collaborate with internal and external partners to produce compelling, high‑quality content
Maximize the use of traditional, social, and digital marketing channels to increase lead generation, nurturing and conversions
Define KPIs to establish goals/objectives and evaluate overall success of marketing strategy
Utilize analytics platforms (Adobe/Google) to monitor, track and optimize campaign performance
Produce analytics reports that provide insight‑driven recommendations to improve effectiveness
BEHAVIORAL ATTRIBUTES

Experience influencing and collaborating with internal teams
Strong communication skills and experience interacting with colleagues at various levels
