As an
Inbound Growth Specialist (iGS) , you are the first human touchpoint for a high volume of
inbound demo requests and free Klaviyo accounts . You provide fast, high‑quality first interactions with Klaviyo’s smallest accounts to create a seamless experience from first touch through purchase.
This team sits within the
Marketing organization
as part of the
Growth
motion and partners closely with Sales, Business Development, Product, and Customer Success. The
primary goal
of this role is to
acquire as many high‑quality new logos as possible while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
You will:
Field inbound demand
(demos, trials, free accounts, and product inquiries) via phone, email, and other channels.
Run
consultative, decision‑driven demos
focused on
one‑call closes whenever possible
for smaller opportunities.
Do targeted
business discovery
to understand goals, urgency, and fit.
Qualify in or out efficiently , so you know where to double‑down and where to quickly move on.
Own and work a high‑velocity pipeline , using strong prioritization and time management to maximize new logo acquisition.
This role is a
proven stepping stone into Account Executive and other closing roles in sales , while also opening doors into other go-to-market paths such as
customer success, marketing, enablement, or operations .
How You’ll Make a Difference
Drive new logo acquisition as a primary objective, maximizing the number of high‑quality new customers while maintaining an exceptional customer experience
Contribute to broader Growth team goals across free‑to‑paid conversion, logo count, ADS, and other core growth metrics
Navigate a high volume of incoming product and sales related inquiries via phone and email
Consult with customers to advise and design solutions based on ecommerce best practices and optimal utilization of Klaviyo’s platform to drive customer value
Conduct consultative qualification of prospects, and provide demonstrations of the platform
Identify and deliver best next steps and/or resources to persuade prospects to purchase and/or activate subscriptions
Collaborate cross‑functionally and with marketing and sales management to improve our overall customer experience, including creating a structured feedback loop on product, web experience, onboarding experience, and other key customer touchpoints
Demonstrate substantive knowledge of e‑commerce, SMS and email marketing
Perform other related duties as assigned
Who You Are
Have previous academic, work and/or internship experience with some
transferable skills
(sales, customer service, support, retail, hospitality, etc.)
Have a BA/BS or equivalent
Excited, motivated, and inspired by exceeding goals and continuously learning
Thoughtful, engaging, energetic, and a self‑initiator
Experience or the ability to operate in a
fast‑paced, high‑volume
environment
Detail‑oriented with strong time management and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; you enjoy talking to customers and helping them make decisions
6 months+ experience in business development is a plus , but not required
Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite or related software; CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar) is a plus

In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign‑on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
