Job Description Summary
The Senior Strategy Manager will be a key partner to Strategy Project Executives and a core member of the Strategy team at GE Aerospace. This role helps shape and drive critical strategic initiatives across the company by delivering high-quality, data-driven analysis and clear, actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities This role will design strategies and be responsible for performing analytical work on strategic projects, structuring key questions and frameworks, and coordinating project management priorities during the “What Game Are We Playing?” and “How Do We Win?” stages of the strategy process. The ideal candidate brings strong financial, strategic, and business acumen and will have a deep understanding of GE Aerospace businesses to:
Drive an options-based approach to strategy
Perform risk and opportunity mapping of strategic options, including valuation and expected stakeholder responses
Assess market dynamics, trends, and value chains
Translate insights into implications for products, capabilities, and investments
The Senior Strategy Manager will work across multiple project teams to optimize business performance, support resource planning, conduct enterprise impact assessments, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies, all while upholding GE Aerospace’s priorities of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
Key Responsibilities
Create analyses in support of “What Game Are We Playing” and/or “How Do We Win” stages, including market sizing, dynamics and trends, value chain analysis, and strategic implications to inform senior-level decision-making.
Coordinate and/or own the quantification of strategic options, via business case modeling and financial analysis of risks to aid in enterprise impact assessments (demonstrating mastery of DCF analyses and NPV target setting).
Support the development of frameworks and actionable recommendations for business expansion, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
Conduct risk/opportunity mapping for each option, including potential market, customer, and competitive responses.
Translate strategic choices into execution plans by supporting the creation of actionable, realistic implementation roadmaps.
Identify and manage risks, developing comprehensive mitigation strategies to protect business and strategic objectives.
Maintain a strong and visible focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) in all recommendations and analyses.
Minimum Qualifications For Candidates In US
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in strategy, operations, finance, consulting, or related fields.
Possess strong industry knowledge with proven experience in strategy development and project leadership within the Aviation and Aerospace & Defense (A&D) sector.
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

Compensation and Benefits (US Candidates) The base pay range for this position is $172,000 - $286,000 annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on April 5th, 2026.
