The Student Ministry Worship Leader oversees all aspects and execution of weekend worship. It is the main responsibility of this role to help create and execute the vision for worship alongside Crossroads Students site support in pursuit of excellent student services. They lead all worship team leaders and facilitate regular training & development for team members. They are responsible for the growth and development of the overall worship team. This role requires a high commitment to excellence. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Oversight: The position is responsible for the general oversight of the worship team, vision, spaces, and experiences. Recruiting & Growth: Sustaining the recruitment and development of volunteers for the worship team. Onboarding: Coordinating & executing the onboarding of new volunteers with worship team leaders & their corresponding teams. Training & Development: Coordinating ongoing training with worship team leaders for new & existing members of the teams. Accountability & Expectations: Working with worship & production team leaders to craft expectations and standards for volunteers and volunteer teams and holding team members accountable to those expectations. Coaching: Providing weekly coaching and hands‑on leadership of the team leaders who report directly to them, helping them to achieve the vision set for their teams. Care & Support: Caring for and supporting the team leaders who report to them, including organizing lunches, gifts, cards, etc., paid for by Crossroads Students; discipling, motivating, and investing in them. Expectations: Growing the team and team leaders both spiritually and numerically; meeting regularly with team leaders and having 1:1 meetings; maintaining a strong understanding of weekly programs & content.
