REPORTS TO: Director, Strategy & Operations
Job Summary Jamestown is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join our team in New York City. In partnership with leadership, this individual will manage the ongoing development and implementation of Jamestown’s sports and entertainment strategy, with a focus on sports‑adjacent mixed‑use development projects and advisory engagements. The Senior Associate will report to the Director of Strategy & Operations. This role will work in a fast‑paced and demanding environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and an independent thinker.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in commercial real estate strategy, finance, and/or development.
Experience in sports‑adjacent real‑estate preferred.
Any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Essential Job Functions
Organize and manage Jamestown’s sports & entertainment strategy, in collaboration with leadership.
Manage sports & entertainment‑related business development efforts.
Project manage RFP responses and pitch decks.
Build out pitch material resources and internal sports & entertainment repository.
Strengthen industry connections and enhance Jamestown’s profile in this space.
Track potential opportunities & relationships.
Support on active projects and services engagements where relevant, providing sports & entertainment subject matter expertise.
Prepare financial analyses.
Build out Jamestown’s internal knowledge base in the sector, sharing key news, tracking industry trends, and conducting market research.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Strong knowledge and understanding of the sports and entertainment industries (e.g., ecosystem of key stakeholders, fundraising, capital markets, trends, ownership news).
Strong working knowledge of relevant mixed‑use real estate asset classes: retail, F&B, office, hospitality, residential, and sports/entertainment venues.
Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and ability to think strategically about presenting results and outputs.
Highly‑organized, motivated, and able to multitask effectively in a deadline‑driven environment while maintaining strict attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate cross‑functionally.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong market research skills; experience with Costar and other real estate research tools a plus.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google equivalents.
