
Continuous Improvement Manager

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager. This role is located in Nacogdoches, TX. Relocation assistance will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $108,749.97 - $159,499.96 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What You’ll Do This position is responsible for supporting plant leadership in achieving business and financial goals by leading continuous improvement /cost out initiatives across the plant. The role will champion the site driving the EBS (Eaton Business System)/ECIS and execute the organization’s strategic plan in line with regulations, industry standards, customer requirements, and lean principles.
In This Role You Will
Participate as a key member of plant manager’s staff in all critical decisions impacting the facility.
Manage continuous improvement team including lean coordinator, CI engineers and CI techs for success.
Implement and lead Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools throughout the enterprise (Value Stream Mapping, structured problem solving, root cause analysis, 5s+, Standard Work, etc.).
Lead operational improvement events (kaizen, gemba walks, rapid improvement events, basic problem solving (A3), etc.) with multi‑functional teams from concept to implementation.
Achieve facility‑wide cost‑out targets through improvement projects, waste reduction, best‑practice sharing/implementation, holding project leaders accountable to deliver, and other programs.
Lead planning and cross‑functional execution of activities to increase results on Eaton’s Operating Assessment (OpA) manufacturing maturity process.
Identify potential safety hazards and provide input into remediation, ensuring equipment meets required specifications, enforcing safety expectations, documenting hazards, and training team members.
Perform root‑cause and failure analysis to resolve production detractors, applying critical thinking and problem‑solving skills for quality and performance in a safe, efficient manner.
Execute sustained change management (e.g., ADKAR) to drive and sustain process improvements.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
Five (5) years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or lean manufacturing deployment in a manufacturing environment.
Three (3) years of experience as a manager of people.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
