Position Overview The Communications Manager will lead strategic communications that elevate donor partnerships and strengthen public engagement with the organization’s mission. This role develops integrated campaigns, storytelling initiatives, and cross‑channel communications that highlight donor impact. Responsibilities
Manage communications for a portfolio of donor partners, ensuring alignment with brand voice and engagement goals
Develop and execute integrated communications plans to support donor campaigns and public awareness initiatives
Write and edit high‑quality materials including press releases, messaging, toolkits, and digital content
Collaborate cross‑functionally with media, digital, brand, and development teams to support campaign execution
Prepare executive communications including talking points, briefings, and donor‑facing materials
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive storytelling and consistent messaging
Qualifications
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms
Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging, mission‑aligned content
Compensation And Benefits This position offers a competitive compensation of $50‑$60/hr along with a comprehensive benefits program, including health coverage, paid time off, and retirement options.
