Jackson Physician Search is seeking a Business Development Representative
to join our Alpharetta, GA team. This is a high-impact sales role designed for individuals looking to build or grow a career in physician staffing sales. You’ll gain hands‑on experience prospecting new and existing clients, engaging with C‑Suite level decision‑makers, and developing the foundation to advance into a Business Development Manager role.
What You’ll Do:
Prospect and source new business through cold calling, email, and research
Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, email outreach, and market research
Schedule and participate in meetings with C‑suite healthcare leaders
Present physician recruiting solutions to prospective and existing clients
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships
Stay informed on market trends and developments in physician recruitment
Meet and exceed daily and monthly activity metrics (calls, meetings, searches)
Travel 10-20% within the Eastern region alongside Territory Managers
What You’ll Bring:
2+ years of sales experience required
1-2 years of staffing sales experience preferred
Proven success in securing new business
Strong organization and computer skills; Salesforce experience preferred
Skilled in prospecting, cold calling, and presenting
Professional, confident presence with the ability to engage C‑suite and medical professionals
Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills
Strong relationship‑building and strategic thinking skills
Stable work history with verifiable references required
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
