We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a

Social Media & Content Coordinator . This dynamic role involves managing and curating content for three unique social media accounts, with a focus on elevating brand presence, engaging with the target audience, and driving overall brand awareness and loyalty.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of social media trends, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for the footwear industry.

This role reports to the Sr. Brand Content and Social Media Manager and works out of our New York City office on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Responsibilities

Develop, brief, and schedule unique social content ideas for each brand that align with promotional calendars, cultural happenings, trends, and seasonal strategies

Write and obtain approval for engaging social copy specific to each brand voice and standards

Research current social media trends, competitor strategy/content, algorithm changes, new platforms, and social media industry news

Track content in real-time - identifying high-performing content types, formats, and topics

Build relationships with our online communities, influencers, and like-minded brands by responding to and interacting with comments, DMs, and groups

Respond to customer service inquiries directly in-platform and the elevate issues to the Customer Service team as needed

Aggregate and analyze weekly reporting on social KPIs

Research, brainstorm, execute, and edit ideas for original/in-office content as well as content captured on-set at campaign photoshoots

Prepare for offsite photoshoots, manage sample requests, and assist with any other relevant events for the marketing department

Additional ad-hock duties as assigned by the marketing department

Qualifications

At least 1-2+ year(s) of experience in a similar position

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the fashion or footwear industries

Proven experience growing a brand’s social media presence

Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in social-first photography, videography, and video editing to create on-brand organic content

Strong analytical skills to interpret social media metrics, assess campaign performance, and provide actionable insights

Proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative social media tactics, emerging features, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the digital landscape

Salary: $50,000-60,000 (based on experience)
