Job Summary The Marketing Liaison will serve as the primary field representative for Vitality Weight Loss, building and nurturing relationships with local healthcare providers (primarily physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical practices) to generate patient referrals to our clinic’s medical weight loss services. This role combines outside sales, relationship management, and educational outreach to position Vitality Weight Loss as a trusted partner for complementary weight management solutions. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and skilled in healthcare networking, with a focus on driving measurable referral growth. As a growing startup, this role will evolve over time and may include responsibilities outside of the scope listed above. We are looking for someone with a proactive, adaptable mindset who is willing to jump in where needed, collaborate across teams, and bring a roll-up-your-sleeves, get-it-done attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-person visits to doctors’ offices, clinics, and medical practices to introduce Vitality Weight Loss services, discuss partnership opportunities, and elicit interest in referring patients who would benefit from our physician-led GLP-1 programs, nutrition coaching, and metabolic support.
Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to identify and prioritize high-potential referral sources (e.g., primary care physicians, endocrinologists, OB/GYNs, cardiologists, and other providers treating patients with obesity-related conditions).
Build and maintain a robust network of healthcare contacts through consistent follow-up, relationship nurturing, and providing value-added resources (e.g., educational materials on GLP-1 therapies, weight loss outcomes, and coordinated care benefits).
Set up, coordinate, and attend lunch-and-learns, office presentations, CME-style educational sessions, and informal meetings to educate providers on our evidence-based programs, medication protocols, patient monitoring, and how referrals integrate seamlessly with their care plans.
Attend and represent the clinic at local health fairs, medical conferences, community wellness events, and networking opportunities to promote services and capture leads.
Track all interactions, leads, and referral progress using HubSpot CRM ; maintain accurate records of visits, conversations, follow-ups, and outcomes to support data-driven strategy adjustments.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure referral processes are smooth, provide timely feedback on referred patients, and facilitate ongoing communication with referring providers.
Achieve monthly/quarterly referral and partnership goals through proactive prospecting, pipeline management, and closing referral agreements.
Stay informed on industry trends in medical weight loss, GLP-1 therapies, and healthcare regulations to position Vitality Weight Loss as an expert partner.
Prepare and distribute professional marketing materials, case studies, and outcome data during visits.
Required Qualifications
Proven field sales experience (2+ years preferred), ideally in healthcare, medical services, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or related B2B sales involving professionals.
Experience using HubSpot (or similar CRM) for lead tracking, pipeline management, and reporting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly with medical professionals.
Professional appearance, polished presentation, and high level of integrity when discussing medical services.
Reliable personal vehicle for daily travel; valid driver’s license required. Mileage reimbursement provided at standard IRS rates.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with independent fieldwork (office-based support available as needed).
Bachelor’s degree preferred (in marketing, business, health sciences, or related field); relevant certifications a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in physician liaison, medical sales, or referral development roles.
Knowledge of weight loss treatments, GLP-1 medications, or obesity management.
Existing contacts in the Las Vegas healthcare community.
