Digital Account Assistant & E-commerce Specialist - Shipshewana + Remote

Work Location
MUST BE LOCAL and able to commute to Shipshewana.
Candidates must be based in Southwest Michigan or Northern Indiana.
3X per week: Onsite at
445 S Van Buren St, Shipshewana (Jungle Jane’s Plant Shop)
2X per week: Work from home
What You’ll Be Doing This is not a passive role. You will be actively contributing to marketing strategy, execution, and revenue growth.
Digital Marketing & SEO
Write and publish blogs using SEO best practices (SEMrush, keyword research, on-page optimization)
Support website copywriting and updates
Assist with Google Ads and digital campaign execution
Assist with content creation through video and photography
Email & SMS Marketing
Build and deploy email newsletters (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Shopify)
Launch and manage SMS campaigns
E-commerce & Retail Growth (Jungle Jane’s Plant Shop)
Manage and update the online store
Maintain product listings, descriptions, and collections
Support Square POS system and inventory alignment
Execute digital strategies to
drive in-store and online sales
Provide
customer service in-store and online
as needed, including cashing people out
Account Support
Assist account managers with client deliverables and content execution
Help move projects forward and meet deadlines across multiple accounts
Review and analyze performance data and monthly reports
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with branding, rebranding, logo creation, and building full brand kits.
Illustration skills and ability to create custom graphics beyond basic templates.
Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
Proficiency with and ownership of professional design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage your own time effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, creative, and eager to produce high quality work.
A strong portfolio that showcases branding and illustration work.
Experience working within agency or multi-client environments.
Ability to create graphics for digital platforms including social media, websites, and advertising.
Knowledge of preparing files for both print and digital use.
Preferred Experience
E-commerce management (Shopify or similar)
Basic understanding of paid ads (Google, META, YouTube)
Experience analyzing marketing data and performance metrics
Familiarity with Square POS or retail systems
Job Details
Full-time W2 position
Compensation:
$42,000–$55,000 annually , based on experience
PTO, holidays, and team perks included
