Responsibilities
Greet customers on the sales floor and conduct needs analysis regarding vehicle make, type, and desired features.
Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation in the showroom or during test drives.
Research availability of vehicle models and optional equipment using computer databases.
Collaborate with Sales and F&I Managers to negotiate pricing, taxes, trade-in allowances, licensing fees, discounts, and financing or lease terms.
Perform visual inspections of inventory on the lot.
Complete all sales paperwork and coordinate vehicle delivery and registration.
Deliver vehicles and familiarize customers with their features.
Attend required training sessions and department meetings.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Work Hours This is a full-time position with hours based on dealership operation times.
Minimum of one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent sales skills, communication, and customer service abilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow up and maintain client relationships before and after sales.
Current valid driver’s license required.
Mathematical aptitude including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.
