The Professional Writer position writes, edits, and publishes information security audit reports and other relevant information security-related documents. The reports span a variety of different information security frameworks and are customized to describe in detail the results of audits unique to each client. Competitive Candidates This role is designed for a recent college graduate with a degree in English or technical writing, or candidates with 1-3 years of professional writing experience. Competitive candidates will possess an affinity for technical subject matter, atypical attention to detail and editing skill, and love the opportunity to truly serve our clients. Though KirkpatrickPrice is spread across the country, this position will work with our writing team in our offices located in Nashville, Tennessee or Bowling Green, Kentucky, with opportunity to work from home occasionally. Experience Undergraduate degree in English earned within the next six months or past 36 months Writing experience that demonstrates the ability to convey clearly a variety of information security assessments Deft with Microsoft Word Skill Strong interpersonal communication skill. The ability to listen, perceive, understand, and engage in a manner that is appreciated by clients and colleagues alike. No technosaurs. You don’t have to be able to design lunar modules in a foreign language, but you do need to be comfortable in the tech space. Knowledge of information technology and information security is advantageous.
