We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Technical Consultant
to lead the design, development, customization, and delivery of enterprise‑scale Dynamics 365 CRM solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across the Dynamics 365 CE platform, strong hands‑on development skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. This role also involves technical leadership, project estimation, and pre‑sales support through RFP/RFI responses.
Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $114,000 to $129,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
In this role, you will
Lead the design, development, customization, and extension of Dynamics 365 CE solutions using out‑of‑the‑box features and custom development.
Perform fitment and gap analysis to map customer business requirements to Dynamics 365 CE capabilities and extensibility options.
Develop and customize solutions using .NET, C#, plugins, workflows, custom actions, JavaScript, and Web APIs.
Act as a technical authority on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE platform, architecture, and best practices.
Design and implement data integration and data migration solutions, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Plan and execute Dynamics 365 deployments, environment management, and ALM processes.
Lead and support Dynamics 365 upgrade projects, including impact analysis and remediation strategies.
Identify and implement performance tuning and optimization techniques in Dynamics 365 implementations.
Provide technical leadership on projects, including mentoring teams and managing technical deliverables.
Support project estimation and pre‑sales activities, including contributing to RFP/RFI responses and solution proposals.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
10+ years of experience in Microsoft technologies, with a minimum of 5 Dynamics 365 CRM/CE implementations.
In‑depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/CE platform, including its architecture and extensibility model.
Strong hands‑on experience with:
Dynamics 365 CE customization and configuration
.NET and C# development
Plugins, custom workflows, and Web APIs
Integration and data migration frameworks
Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 deployment and ALM processes.
Proven experience in performance tuning of Dynamics 365 implementations.
Solid understanding of upgrade strategies and implementation approaches.
Preferred Skills
Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.
Experience with Azure services related to Dynamics integrations.
Prior involvement in pre‑sales or solution architect roles.
