Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Marketing Coordinator at WILLIAM FOGG PUBLIC LIBRARY, located in Eliot, ME. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the library’s programs, services, events, and fundraising. Day-to-day tasks include content creation, social media management, event planning, and collaborating with staff to ensure cohesive branding. The role will also involve engaging with the local community to raise awareness and enhance patron engagement.

Develop flyers and other marketing materials to promote programs, events, and fundraising.

Post regularly to current and future social media platforms to increase engagement.

Assist with developing ideas for programs, events, and fundraising.

Design and update monthly printed and online library calendar.

Assist with developing the monthly newsletter.

Update website with programs, events and fundraising.

Work cooperatively to facilitate regular email blasts to promote the library and all its activities.

Coordinate with the trustees on campaigns, programs, events, and fundraising as needed.

Facilitate marketing to Eliot and surrounding towns.

Work cooperatively with other staff members.

Ability to keep records & files and compile routine marketing metrics.

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with others.

Perform other duties as required. As an employee of a small library, we often perform additional duties on a regular basis and cover for others’ absences, working outside of principle responsibilities.
