The Henry County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is accepting applications for a Deputy Director of Emergency Management. This is a full-time, hourly position with a flexible schedule. This position will report to the OEM in Kewanee. Starting salary of $39,520 -$43,680, depending on experience, with anniversary raises. The applicant should be highly organized with strong attention to detail & situational awareness, while performing professional all-hazard emergency management work in the areas of preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery. Primary functions include logistical & communications support for agency activities; performing various emergency planning, training and exercise tasks. High school diploma with two years related experience required.
