Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated

Director, Global Transportation Procurement

to join our

Global Procurement

team. In this role, you will be responsible for global procurement strategy and value delivery, including category sourcing, business planning, and the management of internal transportation business relationships.

You will join a close-knit, highly supportive team that prioritizes professional development, high employee engagement, and a "customer-first" spirit.

What You’ll Do

Partner with business leaders to prioritize sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations that reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) and mitigate supply chain risk

Analyze category spend to identify cost‑saving opportunities and develop strategies to optimize procurement outcomes

Lead category management and sourcing processes, defining procurement approaches and guiding cross‑functional teams

Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies while ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and a strong customer experience

Develop, document, and communicate procurement policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with global and regional standards

Monitor market trends and collaborate with stakeholders to implement innovative solutions and support supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with experience in sourcing, contract negotiation, procurement analysis, and project management

Proven ability to lead sourcing initiatives and implement supplier agreements, including responsible sourcing practices

Strong relationship‑building skills with a customer‑focused mindset and commitment to internal stakeholder service

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

Proficiency in Google Suite and Oracle Cloud, with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach

Reasonably expected salary range: $163,400.00 – $217,900.00

Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
