As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Director of Emergency Services, you will oversee the operations and administration of the emergency department, ensuring the highest quality of patient care. Candidate requirements
Provide strategic leadership and operational management for the emergency department.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation to build a skilled and cohesive team.
Manage departmental budgets, resources, and equipment to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with other hospital departments and external partners to enhance patient care and service delivery.
Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency nursing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Demonstrated expertise in emergency care protocols, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
