Marketing Analyst Contract Chicago - IL Ref #: 49849 Industry: Airlines/Aviation A major U.S. airline is building out a brand-new measurement and analytics function within its Brand Marketing team — and they’re looking for an Analyst to help shape it. This is a rare opportunity to join a team at the ground floor, working directly with senior leadership to establish reporting infrastructure, campaign measurement, and data storytelling across a high-visibility brand. You won’t just pull reports — you’ll translate complex marketing data into executive-ready narratives that influence how one of the country’s most recognized brands spends its marketing dollars. This is a full-time contract role embedded within the Brand Marketing team, sitting under Corporate Communications. You’ll collaborate across paid, organic, and earned media, partner with external agencies and internal stakeholders, and help build the connective tissue between brand perception and business outcomes like bookings and revenue. If you’re a self-starter who can own a PowerPoint as confidently as a pivot table, this role was written for you. You Will: Pull performance metrics — impressions, reach, engagement, CTR, share rate — directly from paid and organic platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and others) as well as internal data systems and agency dashboards Analyze campaign data across paid, owned, and earned channels to assess effectiveness and surface actionable insights Build executive-ready reports and presentations in PowerPoint, translating data into clear narratives and recommendations for senior leadership Contribute to integrated marketing communications reports, including large-scale campaign recaps (think: Super Bowl-level) Liaise with advertising agency partners and measurement vendors on data gathering and reporting Support the team’s broader measurement evolution, including work tied to marketing mix modeling and attribution initiatives Provide data-driven recommendations to inform future brand marketing campaigns You Have: 3years of experience in marketing, advertising, or social media analytics (agency or in-house) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint — including the ability to build polished, story-driven decks independently Hands-on experience pulling data from paid and organic social platforms (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, Pinterest Analytics, etc.) Familiarity with integrated media measurement across paid, owned, and earned channels Strong data storytelling skills — you can turn a spreadsheet into a compelling narrative without hand-holding Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing quality A collaborative, service-oriented mindset — you understand you’re supporting stakeholders who depend on your work Experience working with or alongside advertising agencies is a plus Airline or travel industry experience is not required Logistics: Start Date/Duration: ASAP / Ongoing contract Hours/Week: 40 hours/week. Overtime eligible. Onsite/Offsite: Hybrid — Chicago, IL (Willis Tower). 1 day/week onsite minimum.
