Content Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)

As a Content Marketing Intern at Cloudflare, you’ll help shape the voice of our brand and connect with audiences across digital platforms. You’ll contribute to creating compelling content that attracts new customers while keeping our existing community informed and engaged throughout their journey with Cloudflare. Responsibilities Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies aligned with business goals. Research, write, and edit engaging blog posts, newsletters, case studies, and other marketing materials. Ensure all content reflects Cloudflare’s brand voice and meets high standards for quality and accuracy. Learn and apply best practices in SEO and AEO (AI Engine Optimization) to improve content discoverability. Adapt writing style and tone for different digital platforms and target audiences, tailoring content to the nuances of each channel. Participate in content planning and brainstorming sessions, bringing creative ideas to the table. Help the team analyze content performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Skills & Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Available for a full-time, 12-week internship, working from our Austin office 3–5 days a week during the summer (May–August). Demonstrated understanding of SEO and AEO principles. Ability to write clearly and concisely, with flexibility to adapt tone and style for various digital platforms and audiences. Experience with AI editing tools, brand compliance, and productivity workflows. Strong research skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
