Part-Time
Hartville Hardware is hiring a Lumber Sales Associate to support customers purchasing lumber and building materials through our Drive-Thru Lumber Department.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying active, and working with building materials in a fast-paced environment.
You will assist contractors and DIY customers with selecting materials, processing orders, and safely loading products into their vehicles.

What You'll Do
Greet customers and provide friendly service in the drive-thru lumber area
Help customers select the right lumber and building materials
Process orders using the point-of-sale system
Provide product information including pricing and availability
Safely load materials onto customer vehicles
Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment (training provided)
Keep the drive-thru area clean, organized, and stocked
Work with the warehouse team to maintain inventory
What We're Looking For
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail or yard environment
Willingness to learn lumber and building materials
Reliable, team-oriented attitude
Ability to lift and handle building materials safely
Experience in hardware, lumber, construction, or building materials is helpful but not required.
Requirements
Must be 18 years or older to operate power equipment
Ability to lift heavy materials regularly
Basic math skills for order processing
Schedule
Part-time up to 28 hours per week
3-4 evening shifts until 7:00 PM Monday-Friday
Saturday shifts required (store closes at 6:00 PM)
Flexible schedule with potential for additional hours
