Closing Keyholder
General Responsibilities
We are seeking a responsible and organized Closing Keyholder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a vital part of our store's operations, ensuring the security, smooth closing procedures, and overall functionality of the store during the closing shift. You will act as a leader and support the team to deliver an excellent customer experience while upholding the standards based on training and highly set expectations.
Key Roles
- Oversee the closing procedures of the store, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Handle all closing financial transactions, including the finalization of sales registers.
- Provide leadership and direction to closing staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and proper execution of store policies.
- Address any issues that may arise during the closing shift, including customer concerns or operational challenges.
- Conduct end-of-day reporting and communicate effectively with management and team members about any incidents or operational needs.
- Assist in maintaining store cleanliness and product displays to ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
- Secure the premises by ensuring all doors, windows, and merchandise are safe; setting alarms as necessary.
Highly Prioritized Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead by example and foster a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic arithmetic and cash handling skills.
- Capability to work independently and take initiative.
- Flexible schedule.

After an initial training and introductory period, your growth is based on your positive contributions to the company. It's a fun, fast-paced, visitor and locals gift, apparel and souvenir destination. Position averages 32 hours a week, minimum. More hours during high tourist season. Weekly pay. Closing hours fluctuate seasonally.
