Make a Positive Impact

We are looking for a Commercial Lines Producer focused on the production of new commercial lines. This producer will also provide financial services and benefits to new clients while maintaining a focus on retaining existing clients.

Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values

The Producer will work with the Commercial Lines Account Manager and directly with customers in the following functions:

Professionalism

• Producers must provide leadership, direction and encouragement to their team to create a positive atmosphere, exceptional service, revenue/policy growth and improve customer retention
• Provide Account Managers with remarketing/marketing instructions on all accounts

Accountability

• Document all transactions, activities and communications in AMS
• Stay informed of markets and products offered by our carriers
• Obtain signed finance agreements and approval for any special financing

Initiative

• Attend Agency-wide staff meetings and appropriate Department meetings
• Review proposals for accuracy before presenting to new or renewal clients
• Meet regularly with Account Managers to review new business and upcoming renewals

Adaptability

• Be responsible for collection of accounts receivable
• Coordinate with Account Managers on placement of all coverage

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills showing proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and AMS360
• Minimum 2 to 5 years in Insurance Account Management
• Missouri Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Insurance designations a plus: CISR, CIC, CPCU, CLU, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable
