Qualifications

High School diploma required.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Business preferred

Minimum three years’ experience in advertising.

Proven experience in editing and proof-reading skills.

Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.

Skilled in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Adobe.

Must be able to continuously maneuver around office.

Must be able to move quickly around property.

Must be able to maneuver to all assigned areas of the casino.

Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk.

Must be able to work independently and proven to be self-motivated.

Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.

Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest’s needs.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant public contact.

Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 20 lbs.

Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.

Must be able to respond to speech, touch, visual and aural cues.

Responsibilities

Monitor all brand logos and PMS color/typestyle consistency in accordance with corporate guidelines to maintain a consistent brand.

Coordinate routing, feedback, and approvals to all necessary departments/individuals in accordance with all guidelines prior to releasing them for publication/airing/display.

Serve as main liaison between Corporate Advertising/Studio and Property.

Maintains and or monitors the following: Entertainment and Promotions, monthly & brand image signage updates & inventory.

Maintain//monitor monthly hotel information channel updates (Sonifi), outdoor billboards& marquee and print schedule updates.

Assist agencies with entertainment photo library maintenance, coordination of photo processing & framing; entertainment ticket distributions to radio stations; assists when necessary or requested the scheduling of Bluesville exterior marquee changes; maintains printed collateral inventories; and other duties as needed.

Monitor any vendor activities from inception to completion where necessary and requested, including advertising agency(s), media, artists, printer(s), sign maker(s), and directing & composing scheduling of all media types, etc.

Coordinate graphic design with Corporate Studio as needed for fliers, tent cards, newsletters, and the like.

Assist in the management of an annual marketing plan and budget in accordance with Corporate’s guidelines.

Process all advertising estimates, maintain a computerized monthly budget spreadsheet showing budget to actual in all marketing production expense areas. Communicate all variances to manager.

Digital Content, Social Media and Website: responsibilities to include create, and schedule original content and posts for Instagram and Facebook. Maintain the company website using monthly promotions, restaurant menus, etc., to ensure content is fresh and updated. Monitor social media and respond to quests comments and questions in a timely manner.

Assist with Events and Promotions when needed.
