Commercial Sales Specialist Opportunity

Are you a B2B sales hunter ready to own and build a commercial division from the ground up? DiStefano Brothers Concrete Coatings, a $7.5M family-owned leader in residential coatings, is making a strategic push into the commercial market. We need a Commercial Sales Specialist to establish our brand, build the pipeline, and drive our growth across Rhode Island, Connecticut and Southeastern MA. Compensation & Earning Potential

We offer a competitive base salary and uncapped earning potential for top performance.

On Target Earnings: $130,000 $150,000+

Competitive Base Salary: $60,000 - $80,000/year (W2 Employee)

Uncapped Commission: Earn substantial commission on every deal closed. Your success directly dictates your income.

The Opportunity

As the dedicated Commercial Sales Specialist, you will be the face of DiStefano Brothers Concrete Coatings in the commercial sector. This role is a startup within a company environment, blending the security of an established business with the autonomy of building something new.

  • Pipeline Generation: Spearhead the commercial growth by aggressively prospecting and cold calling to build a robust pipeline from zero.
  • Solution Selling: Conduct site visits, understand facility/project needs, and present engineered polyurea/polyaspartic solutions to solve client challenges.
  • Relationship Management: Target and establish strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers, including Facilities Managers, Property Managers, and Commercial General Contractors (GCs).
  • Close Business: Execute a consultative sales process to overcome objections, negotiate terms, and consistently close new business.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in B2B commercial sales with the home improvement industry
  • Commercial coatings experience a plus
  • Demonstrated history of prospecting and building pipelines from scratch
  • Expertise in consultative/solution selling (not retail or transactional sales)
  • Comfortable making 50+ cold calls per day to establish initial contact
  • A strong closer with the ability to overcome complex objections
  • Self-motivated and disciplined - capable of working independently
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to lift 50 lbs (samples)
