Craft Lake City is seeking a Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern to join our team and gain real-world experience in nonprofit arts marketing. This is a hands-on role where youll help shape the voice of a leading arts organization while building a portfolio of professional work.

Internship Details

  • Commitment: ~10 hours/week (flexible schedule) for 1 year
  • Location: In-office and on-site at events
  • Reports to: Artisan and Programs Manager

What Youll Do

  • Draft and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Brainstorm, plan, and execute creative social media campaigns
  • Assist with short-form video and photo content (Reels, TikToks, stories)
  • Engage with Craft Lake Citys online community
  • Track analytics and prepare monthly reports to measure impact
  • Contribute to content calendars and promotions
  • Cover live events with real-time posts and stories
  • Support marketing efforts for major Craft Lake City events

What Were Looking For

  • A creative storyteller with a passion for social media
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Interest in Utahs arts, music, and creative culture
  • Organized, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Familiarity with major social platforms (IG, TikTok, FB, X, LinkedIn)
  • Bonus: experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, or Mailchimp

Requirements

  • Must provide your own laptop and phone for work tasks
  • Must be available for extended hours during major events (DIY Festival, LetterWest, Holiday Market)
  • Reliable transportation for in-person commitments
