Assistant Sales Manager New Car Sales

Premier Ford is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to support the daily operations of our new car sales team. This role involves assisting the Sales Manager with team leadership, monitoring performance metrics, coaching sales staff, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. Applicants with Sales management experience are strongly preferred!

Assist in overseeing daily showroom operations and staff scheduling

Support the Sales Manager in training and mentoring the sales team

Monitor individual and team sales performance to meet department goals

Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle features, pricing, and incentives

Participate in the sales process as needed, including greeting customers, offering test drives, and closing deals

Ensure adherence to dealership policies, procedures, and compliance standards

Prior experience in automotive sales required; leadership experience preferred

Strong communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills

Ability to coach and motivate a sales team in a fast-paced environment

Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
