We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Client Executive to join our BNY Pershing Wealth Services Sales team. This role is located in San Francisco, CA.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
* Engage with Registered Investment Advisors, Wealth Managers, and wirehouse advisor teams in a consultative sales process to identify new custody opportunities. * Align on strategic vision and use an in-depth understanding of the firm's solutions and value proposition to help in realizing vision, not limited to assisting with organizational structure, entity formation, business economics and appropriate technology solutions. * Deliver the full value of the firm by leveraging the deep knowledge of the firm's product offerings and how they can best meet client needs with a solution orientation. * Manage the entire sales process lifecycle beginning with forward-thinking planning and continuing with proper sales hygiene, including facilitating and coordinating related onboarding documentation, transition resource team, and asset realization. * Proactively identify potential leads, by creating and executing business development strategies that generate new opportunities, as well as maintain and expand referral sources.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
* Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. * Must have substantial knowledge and experience in the RIA industry, including competitors' offerings, service structure, and business development approach. * 7-10 years of sales experience preferred focused on B2B sales/consulting experience in the Financial Services industry is required. * Proven experience and ability to prospect new custody opportunities, including advisors turning independent from the wirehouse, independent broker dealer or trust company channels as well as fee-based independent investment advisors. * Highly motivated team player that is organized, able to manage complex sales situations and execute annual production goals. * Foster cross-collaboration internally and connect-the-dots across the firm. Remain intellectually curious about products within the firm to keep informed and up to date on all firm offerings. * Series 7 and 63, or ability to obtain within 6 months.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $126,000 and $228,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
