Our Reservations Manager will be responsible for managing the reservation process at the hotel. This role will also support the business travel and leisure reservation processes. Daily duties include answering phones, making reservations, and communicating details to all departments to ensure guests a successful and pleasurable guest experience. Benefits

Answer incoming calls and leads and direct them to the sales & catering team through via phone or email. Answer incoming calls to make/change/cancel reservations for groups and business transient accounts. Ensure routing for all groups is set up and accurate. Assist the Convention Services Managers with group room blocks. Build group room blocks & folios and meeting only folios Create booking links for groups Manage cutoffs and room block audits Work with clients on room blocks; sending links, sending updated pick up, identifying VIP's etc... Understand and execute the group block process from beginning to departure. Maintain positive guest relations at all times with internal and external clients and guests Speak clearly, distinctly, and with a friendly, courteous tone utilizing luxury language Use listening skills to put clients and guests at ease quickly Obtain accurate and complete information from the callers Adheres to First Hospitality's Mission, Vision and Values. Able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. Able to prioritize and organize work. Run reports as needed for sales & catering team Post points at the conclusion of events. Handle mail and correspondence. Schedule is typically Monday through Friday, but flexibility may be needed to accommodate business needs on occasion What You Bring
Strong communication and selling skills Knowledge of keyboard skills. Must be able to analyze situations and make decisions that meet and exceed the expectations of the hotel. Ability to learn and master multiple software systems and PMS systems. CI/TY, MARSHA, OPERA experience a plus. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks. Previous hotel experience in a Reservations, Front Office, Sales and Marketing is preferred but not necessary. Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance. Must be able to work a variety of shifts if needed, but primarily Monday through Friday is preferred work shift. Knowledge of centralized telephone systems. Skills in the operation of telephone equipment. Skills in dealing diplomatically with the public under stressful conditions. Knowledge of personal computers and methods of updating databases. High school graduate or equivalent. Must speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace. Must be able to speak and understand the primary language used by the guests who visit the hotel. About First Hospitality
