The Customer Service Representative II interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. This role supports business operations by ensuring accurate information delivery and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints Provide services such as license, registration, title, permit, or program eligibility information Ensure appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken Resolve service or billing complaints, including refunds, exchanges, or billing adjustments Complete contract forms, change of address records, or service discontinuance orders using computer systems Refer unresolved customer issues to appropriate departments for further investigation Determine service charges, collect payments, or arrange billing Contact customers regarding inquiries, claim results, or service adjustments Requirements
Knowledge of applicable program rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices Proficiency in the English language (grammar, spelling, and communication) Clerical and administrative experience, including record management and data entry Excellent active listening and communication skills Strong service orientation and problem-solving abilities Reading comprehension and critical thinking skills Additional Information
