POSITION OVERVIEW

The Production Coordinator supports the end-to-end production process, partnering with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution of product manufacturing. This role works closely with Sales, Product Development, and Production teams to manage purchase orders, monitor production timelines, and maintain workflow visibility across all stages.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in apparel or manufacturing
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter
  • Strong work ethic and sense of ownership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Effective communicator with strong follow-through
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must


ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO

  • Partner with the Production Manager to review factory capacity and allocate production based on capabilities
  • Monitor orders to ensure on-time delivery and proactively address potential delays
  • Issue and maintain accurate production purchase orders (POs)
  • Update POs as needed to reflect changes and revisions
  • Review packing slips and invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain and update Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports
  • Communicate regularly with factories to track production status and ensure timelines are met
  • Collaborate with Product Development to ensure timely sample approvals
  • Track all production components (blanks, trims, packaging) to meet final delivery timelines
  • Partner with Sales and Sales Support to provide updates on order status
  • Ensure accurate packing instructions are communicated to factories
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
  • Resolve production issues promptly to minimize delays and avoid extensions
  • Ensure all required documentation is received from factories prior to shipment
  • Notify Sales teams immediately of any shortages or shipment discrepancies
  • Ensure factories adhere to established production protocols and requirements
  • Track testing requirements (as applicable) and ensure passing results prior to shipment
  • Partner with Testing and factory teams to resolve any compliance issues before shipping


EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
