24 Seven Talent, Chicago, IL, United States

Key details:

  • Location: Hybrid in Chicago, IL (onsite 2x/week preferred)
  • Contract: 4/13/2026 – 7/12/2026 (3-month assignment with strong possibility of extension)
  • Pay: Around $26/hour W2
  • Focus: Social content creation (short-form video, IG/TikTok/FB), on-camera content, and light content coordination

We are seeking a dynamic Social Content Creator to join the Social Media team and help define how consumers experience some of the world’s most recognizable brands. This role is ideal for a creator who lives on social platforms, understands what makes content “thumb-stopping,” and is eager to be both behind and in front of the camera.

You will ideate, produce, and optimize platform-native content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and emerging channels, while also helping coordinate user-generated, employee-generated, and partner-produced content. Your work will drive cultural relevance, strengthen community, and bring brand stories to life in fresh, engaging ways.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation (Approximately 90%)

  • Concept, script, and produce short-form social content tailored to platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Shoot and edit original video, capture photography, and design static or lightweight motion graphics that align with brand guidelines and current social trends.
  • Regularly appear on camera as talent for social content, bringing energy, authenticity, and clear on-screen communication.
  • Collaborate closely with brand, social, and agency partners to ensure content ladders up to broader brand strategies and campaign objectives.
  • Stay on top of platform updates, trending formats, cultural moments, and creator-led innovations to inform ideas and execution.
  • Participate end-to-end in the creative process—from brainstorming and storyboarding through production and post-production.
  • Review content performance and social analytics to refine creative approaches, test new ideas, and continuously optimize output.

Content Coordination (Approximately 10%)

  • Identify, source, and organize content libraries of UGC (user-generated), EGC (employee-generated), and partner-produced creative assets.
  • Assist in briefing, reviewing, and coordinating externally produced content from creators, partners, or agencies.
  • Support asset management, tagging, and versioning to ensure content is readily accessible and aligned to platform and campaign needs.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in social media content creation.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and edit content in which you personally appear on camera.
  • Proven skills in graphic design, videography, photography, and video editing using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and CapCut (or similar).
  • Required: Portfolio that highlights standout social content, creative thinking, and measurable impact.
  • Deep understanding of platform-native best practices, trends, and storytelling approaches across major social channels.
  • Experience with social media management or publishing tools (Sprinklr strongly preferred).
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills, with an ability to adapt tone and voice to different brands and audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience in community management and/or working within an agency environment is a plus.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is highly desirable.
  • Candidates with an active, visible personal presence on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube are preferred.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent delivery of high-quality, on-brand content that drives engagement and positive sentiment.
  • Visible comfort and authenticity on camera, helping humanize and energize brands.
  • Ability to quickly interpret performance data and pivot content approaches to capitalize on what’s working.
  • Effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to keep content fresh, relevant, and on brief.
