Director of Construction

The Opportunity A leading developer of digital infrastructure is expanding its construction leadership team to support the delivery of

large-scale hyperscale data center campuses across the United States . We are seeking a

Construction Director

to lead planning and delivery of mission-critical facilities from

preconstruction through commissioning and handover .

This role will oversee large construction programs including

greenfield developments, campus expansions, and live-site retrofits

while ensuring delivery against safety, schedule, budget, and reliability targets.

What You Will Deliver

Within the first phase of this program you will: • Lead construction delivery of hyperscale data center facilities from preconstruction through integrated systems testing and turnover • Coordinate internal teams and external contractors including general contractors, EPC partners, trade contractors and commissioning teams • Ensure construction milestones are achieved while maintaining strict safety and quality standards • Work with engineering and commissioning teams to prepare facilities for energisation and operational handover • Maintain visibility of schedule progress, project risks, and cost performance across construction activities • Manage large contractor teams delivering electrical, mechanical, and infrastructure installation across the campus

Construction Scope Projects under this program include installation of: • medium voltage power distribution systems • switchgear, UPS systems, and backup generation infrastructure • cooling systems including CRAH / CRAC and chiller systems • structured cabling and white space infrastructure • yard infrastructure and utility interconnections • integrated commissioning and system testing programs

What Success Looks Like Top performers in this role typically: • Deliver hyperscale facilities safely and on schedule • Coordinate multiple contractors across complex infrastructure builds • Successfully lead commissioning and integrated systems testing prior to operations handover • Maintain strong stakeholder alignment across engineering, operations, procurement, and construction teams
