We are seeking a full time
Escrow Officer/Closer with office hours of roughly 8:30 - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Escrow Officer Responsibilities: Becoming Notary Public and a Licensed Title Insurance Agent. (Employer is willing to cover these costs and it can be done within a short period of time.) Verifying the accuracy of land ownership documents. Conferring with buyers, sellers, and lending institutions. Ensuring all financial obligations have been met by the seller and the buyer and holding and transferring funds. Finalizing the real estate transaction and preparing closing reports. Candidate Qualifications: ~ Previous title company experience is preferred ~ Knowledge of Closing Software (Ramquest Complete Closing preferred) ~ Excellent communication skills, be a quick learner, efficient, good with numbers, dependable and organized. ~4- year college degree or equivalent or military experience preferred. ~ Must have reliable transportation, (some travel may be required for remote closings at customer's homes or businesses) ~ Benefit eligibility (health insurance, and 401k) after 6 months of employment. ~ Pay scale is negotiable depending on experience
