Shirley Parsons is partnering with one of the largest general contractors in the country looking to add a Project EHS Director to their team. This individual will be leading the safety efforts for the construction of a state of the art Data Center project. They will need to manage and mentor the project’s Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) team while ensuring consistent implementation of all EH&S policies and procedures.
The Role: Develop a project‑specific Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) strategy and operational roadmap that addresses high‑risk activities and includes defined, measurable KPIs and milestones. Supervise site EH&S functions and promote collaborative engagement among project teams to support informed safety decisions and improved performance. Ensure that standards are developed, aligned, and consistently applied in accordance with company policies, EH&S programs, and both project and client priorities. Convey the plan to project leaders and team members while engaging trade partners responsible for their scopes to support successful execution. The Candidate: Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or Occupational Health and Safety. Experience in Data Center projects of over $1 billion. A minimum of 10 years of safety experience within a construction environment, specifically with a general contractor, is required. Proven experience leading and supervising a safety team. Ability to travel as required throughout multiple project locations along the east coast.
