Attleboro Enterprises, Inc. serves the residential and day program needs of adult individuals with developmental disabilities and vocational rehabilitative needs in southeastern, MA.
Position Overview The Employment Specialist will be responsible for assisting individuals referred by the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission in obtaining and maintaining meaningful, competitive employment in their community.
Responsibilities
Managing assigned caseload.
Establishing trusting, collaborative relationships directed toward competitive employment in community job settings.
Establishing relationships with community employers to identify job opportunities.
Conducting job development and job search activities.
Providing support to individuals looking to develop work readiness and employment skills.
Qualifications A bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing, job development, case management, outside sales, and working with individuals in the mental health field and/or a human service's vocational setting. Must possess a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and the ability to use one's personal vehicle for business purposes.
Schedule and Compensation 40 hour weekly schedule. Schedule is flexible to accommodate individuals' needs.
Starting salary is $60K per year.
