Business Analyst - Capital Markets

Project description
We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with strong exposure to Capital Markets to support the implementation and evolution of Front Office and/or Middle/Back Office IT solutions. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure successful delivery of market finance systems.
Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between business teams (Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office) and IT teams
Gather, analyze, and formalize business requirements related to Capital Markets activities
Participate in the implementation and integration of Capital Markets software solutions (e.g. Orchestrade, Calypso, Murex)
Define functional specifications, workflows, and data models
Support system configuration, testing activities (UAT, regression tests), and production deployment
Analyze and optimize business processes related to trading, risk, valuation, or post-trade activities
Provide functional support and contribute to incident analysis and resolution
Ensure alignment between business objectives and IT solutions
SKILLS Must have
Previous experience in Capital Markets within an Asset Servicer, Asset Manager, or Investment Bank
Proven track record in the implementation of Capital Markets packaged solutions such as:o Orchestradeo Calypsoo Murex
Strong understanding of Front Office (FO) or Middle/Back Office (MO/BO) processes
Trade lifecycle (execution, confirmation, settlement)
Financial instruments (derivatives, equities, fixed income, FX, etc.)
Risk management, pricing, valuation, or collateral management (depending on scope)
Business and functional analysis
Requirements documentation and process modeling
Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a complex environment
Strong attention to detail
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
Experience with regulatory constraints impacting Capital Markets
Exposure to data flows, interfaces, and system integration
Background in SQL or data analysis tools
