South Florida Baseball League (www.sfbl.com), based in Miami, Florida, is a premier baseball organization operating in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. The SFBL is a wood bat league offering competition in three age brackets: 18+, 28+, and 35+ on Sunday mornings and afternoons and considered one of the top amateur hardball organizations in the country.
Role Description This unpaid Sports Marketing intern can be used for college credit, is a remote role-based in Miami, FL, and will work closely with the Commissioner to develop marketing initiatives to enhance the visibility of the league. The intern will assist in promoting league events, coordinating marketing campaigns/social media posts, managing inquiries, and generating advertising leads. Responsibilities will also include supporting teams and building relationships with sponsors to enhance the league’s presence in the community.
Qualifications
Communication skills to engage with clients and stakeholders effectively
Experience in Marketing, social media and promotional activities
Ability to work remote, with a passion for sports and community building
Organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects effectively
Critical thinking skills and working in an entrepreneurial environment
Pursuing or holding a degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business, or a related field
