
Utility Crew Foreman

Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable individual to serve as Utility Crew Foreman. This role is responsible for supervising the monitoring team and overseeing poultry flock monitoring activities. The foreman will ensure daily execution of pest management and monitoring programs, assist with route audits, and support training efforts across Pleasant Hope Farms. This position requires strong leadership, accountability, and problem‑solving skills.
Job Description Key Responsibilities
Train and mentor technicians on all aspects of their roles
Assist with scheduling and inventory management
Ensure crews are equipped with necessary daily supplies
Conduct routine monitoring of farms for pest activity
Implement corrective actions and follow up on identified issues
Collect blood and environmental samples for laboratory testing
Identify and establish action plans for high-risk farms
Ensure compliance with company policies, including biosecurity, animal welfare, safety, ISO standards, and drug and alcohol policies
Maintain regular attendance according to assigned work schedule
Perform farm visits alongside crew members
Qualifications And Skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Proven leadership experience
High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism
Attention to detail in following pest management and monitoring programs
Ability to read and interpret chemical labels and environmental regulations
Knowledge of health and safety practices, including SDS sheets
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Pest management experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read and write clearly and accurately
