Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Employee and Labor Relations, the Employee Relations Representative is an experienced professional who applies theory and practice with an in-depth understanding of the Employee Relations field. This role provides support related to employee relations issues and employee engagement efforts and projects in support of a high‑performance workplace. Internal and external contacts often pertain to significant employee relations programs and objectives. It includes advising supervisors regarding employee performance management and corrective actions, including discipline and dismissal actions, conducting investigations, and managing complaints and grievances.

Conducts investigations and manages complaints and grievances.
Provides support on employee relations issues and engagement projects.
Works on assignments with limited oversight and complex, diverse matters requiring broad impact assessment.

Salary Range The full salary range for the Employee Relations Analyst is $75,900 - $137,300 annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $135,000 annually.
Employment Requirements Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
Compliance & Policies As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
