Strategic Rail Proposal Writer

This role is responsible for supporting the strategic development of a complex commuter rail proposal and requires expertise in written communication and project management. Responsibilities include the development, maintenance, and execution of a compliant and compelling proposal. The Proposal Writer must demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, excellent project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams. Coordinate and support the end-to-end proposal development process, from intake to final submission Review RFP to identify requirements, compliance needs, and deadlines Collaborate with senior leadership to shape win themes, messaging, and positioning across written and visual proposal materials Draft, edit, and format proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand standards Customize resumes, project profiles, and boilerplate content Maintain and update a proposal content library, including resumes, project sheets, and standard narratives Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards for accuracy, completeness, and professionalism Track proposal progress and maintain organized records of submissions and outcomes Support the development of presentations, interview materials, and related collateral as needed
