The Arc of Grays Harbor is seeking a compassionate, conscientious and fun individual to join our Community Engagement team. This is an excellent opportunity to start as a Community Engagement Guide and move into the Home Care Aide position via paid training for HCA Certification and advance into starting a nursing career. This is also a great job for someone who is retired or a stay at home mom turned empty nester. What Community Engagement Guides do
Community Engagement guides the activities that give clients with a disability the opportunity to access their community with the supports they need. Participants engage in a variety of community-based opportunities to grow their social network and knowledge. Community Engagement services are designed to help children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities as they work towards achieving their personal goals. The purpose of Community Engagement services is to encourage self-determination and self-direction; increase participants\' ability to be involved and included in his/her community; and to help participants develop social networks and connections within their own community. Schedule and Benefits
Vacation and Holidays for individuals scheduled 20 hours or more weekly. Retirement Benefits eligibility after 1 year for qualifying employees. Requirements
