THE PURPOSE: This role is responsible for assisting the Senior Designer in the creation of a competitive, cost-focused product line from concept to production. The ideal candidate will play a key role in researching, sketching, creating tech packs, fabric sourcing, graphics, sample development, and contribute to True Religion’s continued growth by creating a brand-appropriate sellable product.
THE ROLE (what you are accountable for)
Assist in the creation of seasonal color palettes, flat sketches, line sheets, tech packs, BOMs, and graphic pages, sending to vendors with speed and accuracy.
Communicate with graphic designers to provide feedback, check the final artwork, and ensure the timely delivery of graphic assets.
Assist in approving and releasing comments for strike-offs, lab dips, wash panels, and trims.
Assist in researching innovative graphic techniques each season, researching and sourcing new fabrics.
Organize and maintain design development, including artwork, trims, fabric worksheets, and WIPs.
Participate in garment fittings and revise and update information for the Senior Designer to communicate with vendors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Merchandising, Technical Design, Product Development, and Production.
Manage sample logs, sample racks, and assist in line review with the internal teams.
YOU ARE: You bring a strong combination of
technical design expertise

cross-functional collaboration . You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and approach challenges with both rigor and creativity.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
1+ years of design experience in private label women’s sportswear categories, including tees, hoodies, joggers, knits, wovens, or jackets.
Proven experience with flat sketches in Adobe Illustrator, familiarity with PLM or other design management systems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience with working in a fast-paced environment, problem solve, and work on multiple projects at the same time.
Familiarity with garment construction, print and graphics preferred.
ADDITIONAL ROLE INFORMATION:
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $55,000 – $60,000. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This range represents the low and high end of the expected base salary range for this role based on the applicable location. True Religion reasonably expects to pay within this range in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity.
