Project Director Energy Infrastructure & Power Generation
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States, 74103 Compensation: $150,000 $220,000 / yr Travel: Up to 25% The Opportunity: Join a team where your work truly matters. We are looking for a Project Director to lead the execution of complex energy infrastructure projects spanning natural gas, liquids, and power systems. What You Will Do: As Project Director, you will guide multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle of facility design and deliveryincluding processing plants, compressor stations, pipelines, and power generation units. Strategic Leadership:
Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, PMs, technical specialists) to deliver high-impact outcomes with precision. Financial Stewardship:
Oversee multi-year departmental budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, transparency, and rigorous cost/schedule controls. Technical Excellence:
Evaluate complex technical alternatives and oversee the approval of detailed documentation to ensure alignment with engineering standards and business goals. Stakeholder Management:
Foster strong partnerships with contractors, producers, and customers while communicating strategic updates to senior leadership. Process Improvement:
Implement scalable work processes and tools (Oracle, Primavera) to enhance team efficiency and project execution. Requirements: What We Are Looking For: Experience:
7+ years (with Bachelor's) or 5+ years (with Master's) in engineering, project controls, or commercial development within the Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required. Master's degree preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in project scheduling (MS Project, Primavera, Oracle) and data analysis (Power BI) to forecast volumes and assess metrics.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong grasp of DOT design standards, EPC workflows, and Combined Cycle Plant operations.
Certifications:
PE License and/or PMP certification are highly preferred.
