The Role:
The Sales Lead supports Green City Growers’ growth by building relationshipswith prospective and existing clients and guiding them through the sales process of bringingurban farming programs; delivered through our Farming-as-a-Service (FaaS) model; to theirindoor and outdoor spaces. This is a relationship-driven role focused on consultative sales and partnership development. Theposition works closely with companies and organizations to understand their goals and designprograms that support sustainability initiatives, workplace wellness, community engagement, andaccess to on-site locally grown food. core responsibilities
Relationship Development and Outreach Build relationships with prospective and existing clients across corporate campuses, commercial and residential real estate, senior & adult living, healthcare systems, and sports & entertainment venues. Identify new opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach. Represent Green City Growers at meetings, site visits, and conferences & events centered around wellness and tenant/employee engagement to build awareness and strengthen partnerships. Client Engagement and Consultative Sales Guide clients through the discovery process to understand their goals, space, and sustainability priorities. Lead virtual and onsite meetings to evaluate opportunities and determine program feasibility. Conduct site visits and collaborate with internal teams to develop thoughtful recommendations and proposals. Clearly communicate the environmental, wellness, and community benefits of Green City Growers programs. Client Experience and Partnership Support Support a smooth transition from proposal through new client sale and project launch. Maintain strong client relationships that encourage renewals, program expansion, and referrals. Deliver a thoughtful and high-touch client experience that reflects Green City Growers’ values. Sales operations tasks and team collaboration across multiple departments. Maintain accurate CRM records, deal tracking, and pipeline updates. Support forecasting and reporting for the business development team. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and program teams to ensure strong client outcomes. Stay informed on trends in sustainability, ESG employee/tenant experience initiatives, workplace wellness, and urban agriculture. Share insights from client conversations to help strengthen positioning and messaging. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience preferred. Communication Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability tocommunicate effectively in all circumstances, including over the phone, email and in person.Must have strong written, verbal, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills to communicate and work with employees, team-members, supervisor, management, and other external stakeholders. Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of MS Office Suite Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Drive & Gmail. Ability to learn: Canva, and CRM database software and be proficient in Internet software. Other Skills & Attributes:

Must be a team player with a can-do attitude and be goal driven and well with minimal supervision, take initiative, be a self-starter, have a sense of urgency and be process driven.
