VP Commercial Lending role at banking institution in Sylvania. $100K - $135K DOE + bonus potential + strong benefits package. What's in it for you? Bonus potential Strong benefits package Vice President, Commercial Lending Details: Direct hire position $100,000.00 to $135,000.00 / annually First shift (Monday through Friday) Responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the commercial and industrial loan relationships; achieving customer service goals as established in the Commercial Services Department's annual operating plan; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports; actively participating in community activities in a manner which reflects favorably on the bank. Develops and manages the commercial and industrial loan relationships which are typically the largest and most complex by performing the following: Jointly establishes quantitative sales objectives, with assigned supervisor, on an annual basis. Solicits new business from present and prospective customers; interviews applicants; maintains ongoing business relationships with present customers in order to take advantage of additional cross-selling opportunities. Provides sales information on a timely basis in order that this information may be included as part of customer service and sales performance reports. Monitors individual sales performance versus objectives on a regular basis Serves as a member of the bank's sales team that makes group sales calls that will improve the opportunity for new business development. Collects and analyzes financial, credit, and related information; provides direct service to commercial customers of the bank with respect to deposit, loan, and other miscellaneous products and services; approves or rejects loan applications within individual lending authority; negotiates provisions and structure of loans. Presentations to appropriate loan committee. Assists customers in obtaining specialized services from other bank departments as necessary; Monitors loan repayment activities. Jointly establishes annual quantitative customer service and sales objectives with assigned supervisor Provides leadership, on-the-job training, and technical guidance Actively participates in community activities Vice President, Commercial Lending Qualifications: Bachelors degree required Senior or management experience in commercial lending required Minimum 5 years experience in commercial lending Strong understanding of commercial credit analysis, financial statements, and lending structures. Proven ability to develop business relationships and generate new loan opportunities. Proficiency with commercial lending platforms such as nCino and CRM systems including Salesforce a plus A working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures which impact commercial services.
