JR2149**Job Description:**Easterseals NH is seeking a **Vice President of Residential Operations** to lead and strengthen our growing residential programs that support youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and complex neurobehavioral needs. This newly created role is critical to supporting program expansion and strengthening high-quality, trauma-informed services across multiple residential sites.The Vice President will provide strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure residential programs deliver safe, therapeutic, and person-centered care that promotes positive behavioral, educational, and life outcomes for children and youth with complex needs. This leader will work closely with clinical, educational, and residential teams to foster stability, skill development, and overall well-being for students, while cultivating a supportive and inclusive workplace culture for staff. Key responsibilities include:* Ensure compliance with program regulations from multiple states Provide leadership to ensure all Council of Accreditation for Residential Facilities (CARF) standards are consistently met.* Prepare for CARF reviews and implement corrective action. Implement and monitor student treatment plans to ensure individualized care and measurable progress.* Provide youth with a safe, clean, and enriched environment.* Develop and sustain partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and stakeholders to create meaningful opportunities and experiences for youth.* Represent the organization in community forums and with external partners to enhance visibility and program impact.* Lead initiatives to improve student outcomes and overall program quality. Model and reinforce trauma-informed care, equity, and empowerment principles throughout all levels of the organization.* Lead the restraint reduction effort with the Residential and Educational Program Leadership Team by evaluating all incidents, identifying root cause, providing feedback/training, and implement best practice in incident debrief.* Provide exceptional customer service to youth, families, and funding partners.* Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple residential program sites.* Foster a culture that promotes inclusion, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.* Collaborate closely with school and clinical leadership to establish systems that ensure seamless integration and holistic service delivery of educational and therapeutic programming.* Partner with the Admissions Department to maximize census and maintain an appropriate balance of payor mix. Lead all aspects of employee recruitment, retention, and development to maintain a high-performing, mission-driven workforce.* Oversee training programs that promote professional growth, consistent practices, and positive workplace culture.* Supervise and mentor residential leadership teams, ensuring alignment with organizational values and standards.* Monitor staff performance and implement strategies to improve engagement, reduce turnover, and enhance overall morale.* Oversee dining services to ensure nutritious, youth-centered meal programs that meet regulatory and budgetary requirements.* Manage staffing schedules and labor utilization to ensure appropriate coverage while minimizing overtime.* Maintain the safety and security of all facilities, ensuring compliance with internal policies, licensing standards, and best practices.* Oversee residential budgets, staffing models, and operational systems to achieve programmatic and financial goals.* Champion a culture of belonging, inclusion, and respect for all staff and residents.* Lead initiatives to improve student outcomes and overall program quality.* Model and reinforce trauma-informed care, equity, and empowerment principles throughout all levels of the organization.* Participate in the on-call rotation to provide support and leadership during emergencies or crises.**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in human services, Education, Psychology, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.* Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in a residential setting.* Demonstrated success managing multi-site programs and large, diverse teams.* Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, youth development, and residential best practices.* Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.* Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work flexible hours, including participation in the on-call rotation.* Computer proficiency, fiscal management, and communication skills.* Ability to execute emergency response techniques, as needed.* Reliable vehicle with auto insurance at the required limits.**Hours:** This is a full-time, exempt position.**Compensation:** Starting $100,000 annually. Additional compensation based upon experience and education.
