About The Role FTI’s Healthcare practice is seeking a seasoned professional with prior management and hands‑on experience in the effective delivery of operational and financial process improvement. As a Senior Director, you will leverage your consulting background and/or industry expertise to manage the daily activities of high‑performing, interdisciplinary teams to develop dynamic analytical, financial and operational solutions for our clients. You will partner with Managing Directors and Senior Managing Directors to manage projects and be accountable for project scope as well as coordinating multiple work streams to deliver a successful, timely outcome for our clients. You will interact and work primarily with senior management and teams, assessing, analyzing and leveraging operational and financial data to solve complex business issues for our clients.

What You’ll Do Manage, motivate, and mobilize teams to perform to the highest level.

Review data analyses, identify discrepancies and use knowledge to cull out nuances.

Synthesize the results of data analytics, client interviews, on‑site observations and other relevant information to prepare comprehensive assessments and recommendations related to improving effectiveness, efficiency, and strategic value of the client’s human resources practice.

Utilize contemporary expertise in improving operations and identify areas for improvement.

Effectively frame critical strategic issues for client and team.

Develop sound analytics and work plans to address critical issues and effectively communicate these to team members.

Define engagement results in terms that align with unique client needs.

Provide expert knowledge of practice‑specific toolset and be effective in when, how and to what extent each tool is applied.

Develop professional relationships with stakeholders at various levels in client organization.

Effectively identify, develop and manage communication in all forums.

Shape client expectations, ensuring cohesion between FTI and client personnel.

Ensure quality of work products and deliverables at each stage of engagement is consistent with engagement proposal in conjunction with Directors and Junior staff.

Pitch new ideas, products and processes to existing and prospective clients and internal departments to grow the business.

Assist with and lead internal practice development activities.

What You Will Need To Succeed Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Informational Systems, Economics, or related field of study

6+ years of post‑graduate professional experience

Ability to travel to clients and FTI Offices

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in professional services consulting or health care operations management

Project management experience (Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Certification (PMP), or Agile Methodologies)

Experience understanding, reviewing, and interpreting complex Excel/SQL/Tableau/PowerBI Analyses

Experience converting relationships into sales efforts

Experience creating sales collateral materials and converting them to sales

Experience writing/editing RFPs/LOEs
